Thank you for taking the time to visit Oot & Aboot Photography (the Scottish pronunciation of 'Out & About').

I am an amateur photographer who at one point decided to change my use of cameras from simply the shooting of "memories" to the capturing and creating of works of art. I am, you might say, still very much in the crawling phase of my craft. But I am trying to do what I believe is absolutely essential toward improving my ability to do the craft well: taking lots of photos. My goal is to capture images that inspire emotion and encourage reflection. I hope that you enjoy the images I've been fortunate enough to capture.
